What is a Pop It Fidget Toy?
A pop-it is a brand name for the type of fidget toy that was created with bubble wrap as the inspiration.
A popit toy is made up of flexible, plastic bubbles, that when pressed, pop out to the other side with a popping sound, or completely silent, depending on the type of fidget.
Kids always like making their own versions of things, and my 9 year old daughter loved making this homemade popit that she could share with friends.

Step by Step Directions to Learn How to Make a Homemade Pop It Fidget Toy
Draw an 8 onto a piece of cardstock paper. Make the center of each 8 about as large as the palm of your hand. Make the width of the 8 about 1 inch thick.
Fold the cardstock paper in half, and cut out the 8 shape. Cut out the center of each 8.
Draw two circles onto your craft foam about 1/2 inch wider than the center of your 8s.
Cut a line from the outside of the center into the center. Gently fold the foam along the cut line to create a cone-like shape. Try to keep the cone as large as possible, rather than making the end extremely pointy.
The pop-it works better when it is a more rounded shape. Glue the craft foam together where the sides of the cone overlap.
Glue the circles inside each of the figure 8s. Glue the second figure 8 on top of the first to hide the craft foam.
Press the center of the foam to pop it to the other side. Flip and repeat!
