Origami is such a neat pastime and is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. You can make everything from animal shapes to practical things like this pop-up fidget toy!
If you have square origami paper already, you won’t even need to use scissors because the only thing you need to make this homemade paper fidget is a square sheet of paper!
It really is super easy to make this origami fidget toy. While not as durable as some of the other homemade fidget toys that we’ve made, it is one of the easiest to make and extremely low cost!

It’s hard to explain how to make these using just words. We used the video tutorial below to make ours.
Once you’ve made your origami fidget toy, simply press in the center of the toy and it will pop up around your finger.
Then flip the paper over and repeat! You can do this an almost endless amount of times until the folds in the paper wear out.
